Indoor Soccer

Soccer is back for the Winter Season!  If you are in Kindergarten-3rd grade and want to improve your soccer skills or learn the basics, join us for indoor soccer!  Visit the  Programs page on our website for more details and to print a registration form.  Space is limited, so don't wait-register today!

Instructor Needed

The Huron Parks & Recreation department is looking for an instructor for our 2012 Safety Town program.  This program is for children entering Kindergarten in the fall and familiarizes them to the school experience.  We are looking for individuals with previous teaching experience or college students pursuing a degree in education.  Safety Town takes place June 11-21 from 9am-11:30am. Huron City Council recently passed an ordinance prohibiting dogs in Nickel Plate Park from Memorial Day through Labor Day during the hours of 10:00am and 6:00pm. We hope this results in a healthier and safer beach for all our patrons.
