The vision of the Huron Parks and Recreation Department is to establish the HPRD as the leading provider of leisure services in Erie County.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department

is to provide various  recreational programs and facilities to the residents of Huron that will improve the quality of life, encourage active lifestyles and stimulate community involvement.


GOALS OF THE HURON PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT
1. To continue to provide and improve quality recreational programs and facilities for people of all ages and abilities.
2. To investigate and develop creative ways to reduce expenses and increase revenues while maintaining quality services.
3. To improve and increase marketing of programs and services in which HPRD provides to the community.
4. To improve the overall administration and operation of the Huron Parks and Recreation Department
